"These two are the sweetest, most incredible people and the best wedding photographers! I fell in love with their photos before I even met my husband, and I couldn’t believe I was able to have them as my photographers for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. We first met them for our engagement photos with our dogs and they somehow captured the most amazing pictures of our pups even with mine acting crazy most of the time! From the moment we met them I felt like we had known them for years, they are so bubbly, sweet, and caring! The very next day I received a sneak peek and couldn’t stop looking at the photos! They were incredible! Leading up to the wedding they send you questionnaires to make sure they capture every photo you want and discuss the best locations for different pictures. They have worked at so many venues they are pros when it comes to finding THE spot! It rained for part of my rehearsal dinner but those two stood in the rain capturing the most incredible photos on King Street! The pictures brought everything right back to how magical and special that day was to everyone- we can see it on everyone's faces in these incredible pictures! I love all the different types of shots we got as well! From our portraits as a married couple to the MOST fun candids, it truly feels like you got every moment. We had the chance to see so many things we missed that day which also just made everything feel complete! Getting our pictures back is one thing that helped me through the post wedding blues and gosh they delivered!!! I can't believe it is really us in some of them! "AHHHHH!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! We were not expecting to get our photos back this fast!! We just had a little date night and have spent the past few HOURS looking through them!! And y'all... THEY ARE AMAZING!!! Absolutely, entirely, perfect!! I'm not going to lie, I might have shed a few tears! (no surprise there:) They somehow captured every special moment between us as well as all those that we weren't able to be a part of! "Forgive me as I struggle to put into words what I feel because - well its hard to put all of the emotions that we're feeling into words! The photos are absolutely STUNNING. The quality, the clarity, the colors. All of it - it really is like you captured these photos in "real life." Not only are the photos of us, our guests, the tent, etc perfect - the photos you captured of the house and property are absolutely unreal. And so special to me that in the crazy excitement of the day you remembered me saying capturing the house is so important because it's my family home! Secondly, I literally cried ALL WEEKEND (the happiest tears!!) going through these. With the right cameras and skills, many teams could probably argue for their ability to produce "pretty photos," but what you did transcended that. You didn't take photos, you captured memories. Somehow when I look back through these photos I still hear the band, people laughing, it's like I am transported right to that moment?! Plus, even though that weekend was THE BEST weekend of my life - I still know I couldn't be in every place at one time and there's just some things I missed out on seeing! But how did you manage to capture so many perfect little moments of all the people I love and cherish!?! Now I feel like I missed nothing! You have photos of people dancing I didn't even see there! These are photos that will last us a lifetime. The one word I kept leaning into for our wedding weekend was JOY. All the planning, flowers, food, tablecloths aside.... I just wanted it to be joyful. Like the kind of feeling you get Christmas morning sitting on the floor covered in wrapping paper surrounded by your family! And that is what I felt the entire weekend. THAT is what these photos captured. Even photos I normally would not *love* because my smile is too big and my nose is too crinkled... those are some of the most precious photos to me because my joy cannot even be contained.

"We truly don't even know where to begin. Our very first impression of A&J was their online presence, which we immediately thought, WOW!! Their photos are INCREDIBLE, FRESH and VIBRANT - and they're a husband and wife team?! Can it get any better than that? Then when we spoke on the phone, we KNEW they'd be the ones taking out wedding photos! They're both so positive and upbeat and both my husband and I knew, right away, that we needed to book them! And we are THE MOST indecisive people, ever! Then after we booked them, Jill was always super quick to respond to me, even when they were traveling! She always provided me with an honest answer, and never a short one, which showed how much she care for her clients. As the wedding day finally arrives, we were so excited to see Aaron and Jillian! They were extremely professional and calming during a very emotional day for both of us. And they both dressed as if they were wedding guests, and in the color scheme of our wedding decor, which I thought was so awesome. So many of our guests thought it was awesome too! They're just truly the definition of A POWER COUPLE and work so well together! They helped guide us into certain poses and we loved watching them bounce their talents and ideas off of each other in the most positive and professional way! They handled big group of families of all ages and made everything feel SO SEAMLESS. We received the sneak peek of our photos within a couple days of our wedding and tears IMMEDIATELY filled our eyes. Aaron and Jillian know what they're doing and my advice for future brides and grooms is to JUST TRUST THEM because they are THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS! We first met this duo when we came down to Charleston to do our tasting and design meetings and being the sweet Southern couple that they are, they invited u s for drinks at their gorgeous home! We chatted with them for hours and knew then that we had made the right choice in hiring them for our wedding day! I mean, we knew that we liked them, but we realized that WE LOVED THEM after our wedding day experience! First of all, they are total pros! They're absolute professionals and are SUPER DETAIL ORIENTED. Secondly, they're lovely to be around and bring and upbeat, positive, can-do attitude to your wedding day. “Aaron and Jillian photographed our wedding at Middleton Place and they were both so wonderful! We cannot imagine our wedding day without them now! A HUGE BENEFIT of working with A&J is that you have the pleasure of working with TWO AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHERS who are both true pros. They were able to tag-team our getting ready shots with Jillian photographing myself and my bridesmaids and Aaron photographing my husband and his groomsmen. Then throughout our wedding day, they made sure that we were comfortable and having fun in front of the camera, which resulted in SO MANY BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHS. "OMG. No lie, taking this moment to write this email, is truly the first second all day that I haven't been staring at our photos because they are so gorgeous and warm and stunning and ugh, they just melt my heart and take me back to every moment of how perfect that Friday four weeks ago was!!! My face literally hurts from smiling for like the fifth hour straight and I just can't even contain the joy and emotion that this album is bringing me. With all the pictures and different angles you captured, you would have thought there were at least five photographers but it was just the two of you!! Like all the ceremony pictures, how did y'all do that?!? It was like a magic trick!!
I cannot and will not ever stop loving these photos and I can't thank you enough for being the ones to capture our most special day. I can't imagine anyone else being able to pull the magic and joy and love of those moments, the kind of moments that only come once in a life, and put them into pictures. It's difficult ahead of weddings now a days with all the social media- Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. - and the expectation that creates for brides on their own day with what their photos will look like but I have to say the thing that makes these photos so special to me is that they really capture, in the most authentic way possible, all of the people that I love most in this world. The goofiness, the beautiful quiet moments of reverence, the crocodile smiles with all of the teeth (me especially), tears of joy and tears of laughter, the dance moves, and all of the love. Every single drop. Okay done with my super sappy rant now but I just wanted to thank you and Aaron for everything you did! Tom and I will never forget what a special role you both played in making our wedding so beautiful and memorable, and now captured for us to revere forever.

From our very first conversation, we knew we made the right choice, but little did we know just how awesome working with them would be. Our engagement session felt more like a double date than a photography session! They made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, and it felt like we were hanging out with two longtime friends the whole time. We are definitely NOT naturals in front of the camera but Aaron and Jillian made it so easy. They gave us such clear directions and would often model the poses for us which was SO incredibly helpful! We were absolutely blown away when we received our engagement photos. We loved every single image and they all had such a light and airy feel to them. We couldn't have been happier! When our wedding was postponed twice due to the pandemic, we absolutely knew they were the one vendor that we couldn't live without. In fact, we were prepared to change our wedding date if they hadn't been available for our new one!! Our wedding celebration ended up being 13 months later than originally planned, but it was so worth the wait! Throughout the entire day Aarron and Jillian were professional, efficient, detail oriented and so much fun to be around. Multiple wedding guests commented on how Aaron & Jillian seemed to be everywhere, capturing absolutely everything, but without the paparazzi vibes (lol) and we totally agree!! We are still in awe of our wedding photos. Every single image is stunningly beautiful and they truly captured the genuine joy and love that we felt throughout the entire day. I LOVE HOW LOOKING AT THEM BRINGS US RIGHT BACK TO THAT DAY AND ALLOWS US TO RELIVE IT OVER AND OVER! WE ARE GOING TO CHERISH THEM FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES. And There is absolutely no way that we are ever going to be able to choose just 100 photos for our wedding album. Our photos are just that good y'all! We love them ALL! In conclusion, we hope it is clear by now that we are absolutely OBSESSED with Aaron and Jillian. Book them ASAP. It will be the very best wedding decision you make."

First, it must be said that they are unbelievably talented and hard-working. They delivered our wedding gallery full of 1442 frame-worthy photographs within 3 weeks of our wedding – yes, you heard that right, 1442 stunning, immaculate, glorious photos mere weeks later! These photos truly tell the story of wedding day and capture so many subtle moments that went by in such a blur. In addition to their talent, they are consummate professionals. From the moment we booked them, they were already thinking about the timeline – sunset, the golden hour, and how to document every last detail. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, they were extremely engaged, receptive, and responsive. When I was conflicted about bridesmaids' dresses, Jill immediately responded to my inquiry and helped me determine what would look best with the vision I had created. And I just love that they are a husband-wife duo because they work so effortlessly with each other that you forget you have multiple cameras on you. “It has taken me way too long to write this review because I knew I wouldn't be able to do them justice, but I will try! Aaron and Jillian were one of the first and best decisions we made for our wedding! From my first phone call with Jillian, it immediately felt like we had somehow been friends forever. Both Aaron and Jillian have an incredible way of making everyone so comfortable in front of the camera, which translates to beautiful and natural pictures. When we go through our pictures from our wedding day, it is almost like we are reliving all the moments, which is so important when the day itself goes by way too fast! It rained almost the entire day and my biggest concern was not getting the pictures I wanted, but Aaron and Jillian quickly shifted gears and utilized areas inside of our venue to still give us all the pictures we could ever want. And in case you need an up-do in the middle of your reception because you are sweating with your hair down, look no further because Jillian is your girl!! She pulled me away off the dance floor for a couple minutes and I came back with a whole new look! Lastly, as the rain derailed our boat exit, Jillian and Aaron offered to drive us to our hotel in their brand new beautiful white SUV. They are wonderful photographers and humans. "Aaron & Jillian are simply the best! My husband and I planned a destination wedding in Charleston and hiring great photographers was extremely important to us. Not being from the area, I did an extensive amount of research and just kept coming back to their light and airy photography that felt so perfect for Charleston. I was already sold on them just from looking at their work, but after talking to Jillian I knew we had made the right choice. She was so kind and gave great suggestions on her favorite vendors to work with. And let me tell you, Aaron and Jillian are true professionals who pay attention to every little detail and know all the best spots in Charleston. They drive you to all of the locations to make it easy for you and really maximize their time with you. Jillian asked about our wedding colors and design and she and Aaron showed up dressed perfectly to fit right in with our guests. They take the time in advance to find out what is most important to you in terms of the type of photos you want most. My husband and I did not do engagement photos and I was worried we would be awkward in front of the camera and not know what to do. But we had no reason to worry, since Aaron and Jillian made us feel so comfortable and guided us through it all. We genuinely had so much fun with them and they're just the type of people you want to be friends with! A big bonus working with a husband and wife duo was that they demonstrated with each other what to do or how to pose, which was so helpful and very sweet because it was clear to see how much they love each other. They also got a lot of great candid photos of our guests, as we requested. Our guests loved them too and commented on how nice they were. We received all of our photos just TWO WEEKS after our wedding and they were STUNNING!! Looking through all of the pictures was like reliving the day all over again. They captured every moment, including many that we didn't even see ourselves and were so grateful they took. They just went above and beyond. In the sneak peak they shared on Instagram, there was a beautiful picture of downtown Charleston. I asked about the photo and told Jillian that I wanted to print a large photo of just Charleston that highlighted the city's architecture and she then added a whole bunch of pictures they have taken of downtown throughout the years to give us a bunch of options. I just cannot say enough about what talented photographers they are and even better people! AARON AND JILLIAN, WE CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SO BEAUTIFULLY CAPTURING OUR DAY!!"

When we had to make the hard decision to get married in a private ceremony, during the pandemic, we planned a reception party at our venue, at a later date and they were so understanding and helped us make the best of the new date. they even took some beautiful pregnancy photos of me, since I was 6 months pregnant. Their photography skills are amazing, but what also made them so special is that they felt like good friends, throughout the entire experience. Seriously, if you are a bride, groom, or parent and worried about how you are going to capture your wedding day, look no further - Aaron and Jillian will do just that! It poured, I mean poured lol, on our wedding day (our entire wedding was outside due to COVID) and while I knew we would get photos, I still had a little voice that was slightly nervous the weather did not cooperate enough for all the portraits. Aaron and Jillian delivered our album and I cried at how perfect every single photo was and how they captured EVERY PHOTO I could have wanted. All of our guests said they could not believe how you couldn't even tell that it rained on our wedding day. They are not only the most down-to-earth couple, but they are true professionals. The two of them take the time to get to know you as a couple and they capture every single moment of the wedding day. My mother was so upset she could not have a cookie table and she had to put her homemade cookies into a box instead as a favor. Aaron and Jillian took the time to take every single cookie out of the box and take a photo of them, without us even asking. I cannot perfectly articulate how amazing they are as wedding photographers. They even defended my wedding dress from muddy sheep - not even kidding. "I CAN'T WITHHOLD MY EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!! I AM SO OBSESSED AND SO VERY HAPPY WITH THESE PICTURES!!!!!!!! YOU NEED AARON AND JILLIAN!!!!!! "Aaron and Jillian took our engagement and wedding pictures. They are truly talented and incredible at what they do. My husband and I tend to shy away from being the center of attention and wouldn't consider ourselves 'naturals' in front of the camera. Both times, Aaron and Jillian put us at complete ease, to the point we almost forgot they were snapping away. They are complete professionals. We had an army of a bridal party, a dog in our ceremony and some serious rain and they handled everything with ease. They bring such a positive energy to every situation. Plus they're organized and keep everyone on schedule, but with the kindest demeanor. The pictures they took are unreal. You would've thought there were ten photographers because they capture every moment so perfectly from all angles. First, they are such a cool, fun couple and they make the awkward picture taking process really comfortable and easy. "Aaron and Jillian are all around amazing! We were planning our Charleston wedding from Atlanta so we did a lot of research on different photographers. Immediately after looking through their portfolio, blog and social media, we knew they were EXTREMELY talented! Not only were they extremely talented, they were so organized and professional throughout the entire process... Always so quick to respond to any questions, concerns, suggestions, and were always honest in their responses! We were able to fit in our engagement session at Middleton Place a month before our wedding and that turned out to be one of the best days! "If you’re looking at reviews, I’m sure you’ve seen it before but Aaron and Jill are the best. They were able to make everyone so relaxed on such a long day. During our family photos, Jill somehow captured the only photos we have of both my husband and I’s grandparents smiling! That is a gift you can’t put a price on that our whole families will be forever grateful for. I’m not a girl who does her hair and makeup most days but Jill took care to remind me to throw on some lipstick and fluff my hair “just right” to make my photos better than I could have ever dreamed. Lastly, they don’t often post “Dance Floor” photos so I was a little concerned that once the lights went down our A+J quality photos might be done for the day, but I can promise you that is not the case! One in particular is of me, my bridesmaids, and our dads... I remember thinking after we lined up and they snapped the shot that we should’ve gone off the completely dark dance floor to where there was more light. I have no clue how they did it, but the pic is awesome and one we will cherish! The other “dark” picture they got for me was of the full moon we had! They were so careful to fulfill every request we had. This is a day we will reminisce on forever, and I’m so grateful for the photos to remember it by. "

"S-T-E-L-L-A-R and every other synonym sums up Aaron and Jillian ("A&J"). A&J are a true dream team! Our wedding photos are amazing! I wanted romantic, light shots and A&J over delivered. They made us very comfortable (most friendly couple ever) and gave terrific direction (made us look like we had been modeling as a couple for years). They knew all the good spots at our venue. I provided a list of special shots to A&J and they captured every single one perfectly as well as a few extra special ones that were not planned. They provided all of our photos three weeks after our wedding (give or take). I went over my budget to lock in A&J to shoot our wedding. They are worth thousands of dollar more than we paid them to shoot our wedding (seriously). Our dog was in our wedding. A&J are great at shooting dogs and rolling with whatever the dog does (and making it look great in pictures). Quality: Exceptional - Most perfect photos Responsiveness: Almost Immediately Professionalism: They have it! Value: Would have paid more Flexibility: Yes! "We were so lucky to have Aaron and Jillian as our photographers for our September wedding and our engagement session in March! Their ability to put their subjects at ease is invaluable. First, they made us forget about our nerves and our engagement session turned out to be enjoyable! We were elated when we saw our photos a short time later and there was no evidence of our normally "awkward in photos" selves! Then, on our wedding day, we became even more aware we hit the wedding photographer jackpot! They were at the house where the bridesmaids were getting ready bright and early. They were organized and calm and their attitudes helped make everyone less nervous. They helped keep us on schedule, had light hearted conversations that made everyone laugh and got photos of all of the moments I requested simultaneously. Then they REALLY worked their magic at the ceremony and reception. They are so comfortable with each other and the way they joke and interact with their subjects and each other makes the smiles in their photos look VERY natural and because they ARE natural! There are a good number of our family members who make it difficult to take their photos. Without naming names, a certain family member of ours who is known for being a huge pain in photos, told me on three different occasions how great our photographers were and, I'm quoting, "the fact that Jillian isn't bad to look at helps, too." It is true that she is very pretty, but I think it's her jovial attitude and infectious smile that won over our most difficult family members. The reason, I'm focusing on Jillian is because she took a majority of the posed family photos. I'm not actually positive which photos were taken by Aaron and which by Jillian because they are both super talented and all of the photos are equally exceptional! I think Jillian told me that day that Aaron was taking the detailed shots of the venue, which were also gorgeous! I've tried to take photos of decor details without a human subject and those are often just as difficult as getting a photo of one of my cranky family members! It's not like other photographers I've seen that have an assistant with them that you aren't sure if their work will be as good as the main photographer. You get two "main photographers," both of whom are great at what they do! Also, I have to mention, Aaron and Jillian send out a questionnaire before the wedding asking for specific photos that are "must haves." After my sister's wedding photographer got about 4 photos of my mom and 2 of me, my mom and I REALLY appreciated this thoughtful questionnaire! Then on the day, they had a copy of our answers and they checked off each photo as they got it! So they definitely got every possible combination of family members we had requested plus they got so many other photos that we hadn't even thought to request. Long story short, if you want two extra guests that make your wedding more fun for everyone and they happen to be the all around best photographers - book Aaron and Jillian! You might want to check their availability before you set your date and then choose based on the days they have- they are that good! Your wedding photos are so important and you can trust Aaron and Jillian to deliver everything you imagined and so much more!"

"Aaron and Jill photographed our engagement session (Charleston) and destination wedding (Santorini, Greece). I have put off posting this review because I can't even begin to articulate how amazing these two are!!! My husband is all for camera posing - I on the other hand am not yet they managed to make me feel comfortable and captured the most beautiful pictures I have EVER seen!!! "I can tell you that without a doubt, booking Aaron & Jillian was THE BEST DECISION OF OUR WEDDING (and the second best was having a planner! Seriously) I'm straining to keep this as short as possible but I have so many incredible things to say! From the beginning, Aaron and Jillian were responsive, sweet & EXCITED for us! I sent Jill my dress and she got me all excited and teary eyed all over again over it. Her excitement was contagious! When they showed up morning of I had forgotten everything they asked of me. whoops! They laughed, smiled and carried on. They had a schedule, a mission, an idea of what they wanted how they wanted it and kindly, politely, and sweetly managed the entire day to absolute perfection. They ask for photos you want, or inspiration you have and remember to take these while you're all caught up in the madness, the one photo I asked for turned out to be one of my favorites! Their love respect and admiration for each other, their excitement over the photos, the light, your dress, your smiles, your love, their response to every shot they take, they made our wedding and made our photos. We still get compliments on how sweet they were, how kind they were, and how the seemed like family from the get go. We (INSANELY QUICKLY) just received the final photos yesterday, when I say they are perfection, THEY ARE PERFECTION. I have sent them to EVERYONE & EVERYONE is freaking out over the perfection. The photos exemplify us. They portray every emotion, every tear, every laugh, every smile. If I had to change everything about my wedding but one aspect, the one I wouldn't change would be booking Aaron & Jillian."

"I don’t even know where to start other than saying that hiring Aaron and Jillian Photography was THE BEST decision we made for our entire wedding. They were INCREDIBLE from start to finish in every way, and I would hire them again and again in a heartbeat. I didn’t even know what questions to ask before hiring photographers, but Jill takes the time to talk through their process, style, and ask about what we are looking for (which I wasn’t even able to articulate well but somehow they got it spot on anyway!). She kept in touch throughout, even though we hired them a year and a half before the wedding, and made sure to touch base in depth a few weeks before the event to ensure they captured any particular moments we wanted. They have such an artistic eye, were so creative and were always in the right place at the right time to capture the most incredible candid photos of us and our guests as well as more posed photos (which never looked fake!) and beautiful scenery shots of the venue and of décor. They were also so friendly, warm and likable that at one point I thanked them for coming because I had forgotten that weren’t there as my friend/guest! They made us feel so comfortable even though we were terrified of being in front of the camera, and were such fun to be around. They were also a calming presence throughout a hectic day which was much appreciated, were never intrusive even during more delicate moments (eg the ceremony), and were extremely professional at all times. We have received non-stop compliments from guests and even people who weren’t there about how amazing our photographers were. My sister already reported that she would want to hire them for her wedding because they did such a mind-blowing job for ours -- Aaron and Jill, we’ll see you in a few years at the very least (but hopefully much sooner)! "Aaron and Jillian are INCREDIBLE!! I don't know if I have enough characters to write everything I want to say about them! Initially, when we started to look at photographers, I fell in love with their photography style and everyone's reviews of them were GLOWING. They were definitely a little over what we had initially budgeted for our photographers, but I could not be more THRILLED that we decided to splurge on them! They are a HUGE part of what made our day so incredible and I can't imagine it without them! We hired them about a year and a half before our wedding when we first got engaged and we fell in love the moment we contacted them to chat with them about the options and their style! Once we decided that we couldn't possibly go with any other photographers, we chatted back and forth via email with them about our story. Shortly after we chatted with them via email, they invited us to THEIR HOME for dinner so they could get to know us a little better as a couple! I haven't heard of any vendors ever doing this, and it was amazing. We went to their ADORABLE perfect home and Aaron made us drinks and they told us all of their amazing travel stories and introduced us to their adorable pups. They were so sweet and so welcoming and genuine, we left saying to each other, "we definitely picked right!" Not only are they extremely talented, they are just the sweetest and the cutest couple! They work so well together and clearly LOVE what they do! They stayed in close touch with us all along, and as our day was approaching, they sent us questionnaires so everything would be exactly as we hoped! The day came and Jillian came into the room where I was getting my hair and makeup done, told me how gorgeous I looked and gave me a huge hug. They were SUCH an important part of our day beyond just photographing our special day! They are both so easy to work with and be comfortable in front of, are adorable and work so hard to get just the right angles and lighting for every photograph. They made being photographed SO comfortable, and continuously made us feel like the most amazing and beautiful people in the world. My groom and I both commented to each other so many times, "they've done SO many incredible weddings and yet they're making us feel like every picture is the most amazing one they've ever taken and everything we do is the most beautiful and adorable thing ever!" They truly made us feel like our wedding was the most beautiful one they've ever photographed, and we know they've photographed at least hundreds of gorgeous Charleston weddings. They seemed so genuinely excited about everything and clearly LOVE what they do. I can't say enough incredible things about them, and could go on and on. They are worth the money and so much more, I literally couldn't imagine our day without them. Guests commented on how incredible our photographers were without even seeing the final products yet! "My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and writing this review was one of the first to-dos on my list! As I’m sure many Brides will agree, your wedding day flies by in what feels like a blink of an eye, but my husband and I feel so lucky that we’re able to re-live the day through the breathtaking photographs Aaron and Jill captured. "OH. MY GOD. OHHHHH MY GOODNESS.......SPEECHLESS...... If that's how you want to feel when you gaze at your wedding photos for the first time, then stop looking anywhere else. You found them. There's no other choice other than Aaron + Jillian, whether you're getting married in Charleston or not. My husband and I got home late last night from living out our honeymoon dream and I knew the photo link was waiting for us. We ended up not getting home until after midnight, just long enough to do a load of laundry, sleep, and get my husband back to the airport the next morning for a work flight. Needless to say, reality slapped us hard in the face today. And after missing my husband all day, I finally had a chance to go through the link.
