Colin and Amanda’s wedding at the historic Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, South Carolina, was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and heartfelt celebration!! Our favorite mix! The venue’s classic architecture and lush gardens always make such a dreamy backdrop for weddings!

Their ceremony took place beneath a canopy of ancient oaks, with sunlight streaming through the leaves as they exchanged vows! When it comes to lighting and garden backdrops, we think the Thomas Bennett House has some of the absolute prettiest in all of Charleston for ceremonies! Amanda and her dad made their grand entrance through the front door of the house, down the piazza, around the spiral outdoor staircase, pass the floral drenched fountain and then down the aisle… and talk about A MOMENT!! It was absolutely breathtaking!

Cocktail hour was held on the front porch of the historic home (aka the piazza), followed by a reception under the prettiest sailcloth tent, draped in blush and white florals. It was straight-up stunning. After dinner and heartfelt toasts, guests hit the dance floor—and did not hold back! We love when couples bring out props for the party… there’s just something about a light-up cowboy hat that brings out everyone’s wild side. It makes for the best dance floor photos!

They made their grand exit surrounded by all their guests tossing white rose petals—such a romantic send-off! Then they hopped into a vintage convertible and drove off into the night. Total movie moment!
