Patrick + Sam’s William Aiken House Wedding

We met Pat + Sam the week of their wedding – 3 days before to be exact! But when we walked in the doors at A Charleston Bride and Sam opened her arms to give me a big hug the first time we met her, I knew we were in business!! We loved her and Pat right off the bat! Their laid back personalities made spending the day alongside them and their bridal party at The William Aiken House a total pleasure! Haley from A Charleston Bride planned and designed the whole day for them and their guests and decorated the historic wedding venue with gorgeous lavender and ivory details, beautiful hanging wood lanterns, classy lounge furniture, a custom bar, draping over the pergola at the ceremony site, adorable ivory spindled chairs and some lovely Spring florals! … and let’s not forget the awesome taco bar, Moscow Mules for each guest as they entered the ceremony space, craft beers, beautiful custom stationery, a painting of The William Aiken House as their guestbook and a beautiful clear tent that allowed guests to enjoy the rain falling overhead as they danced the night away – which they most certainly did, with Sam leading the pack, of course! That girl CAN DANCE!! It was an awesome party and a BEAUTIFUL day from start to finish!! Enjoy some of our favorite shots of the day!
